As of October 14, 2026, NexTool is compatible with GLPI 12. The base plugin (version 6.40.1) and all 37 modules have new versions that run on GLPI 11 and 12, and 12 of them still work on GLPI 10 as well. The release came one week after the official launch of GLPI 12.0.0. Below you will find the module-by-module table and the safe path to update.

The 12 modules that run from GLPI 10 to 12
If you are still on GLPI 10, you can use these today and keep them unchanged through the migration: AI Assist, Mail Analyzer, Smart Assign, Barcode, Print Counters, Vulnerability Scan (CVE), Holiday Sync, Rule Inspector, Ticket Tracker, Column Resize, Security Guard, WhatsApp Bot.
The other modules require GLPI 11 or 12.
How to update
- On GLPI 11, update NexTool first. In NexTool > Modules, use the Update all button. The new versions work on 11 and 12, so you do not need to wait for the migration.
- Test GLPI 12 in a staging environment, with a copy of your database and the modules already updated.
- Migrate production once staging passes. The modules stay installed, with the same configuration.

What if I am on GLPI 10?
