Telegram Bot delivers on Telegram the notifications GLPI already sends by email: new ticket, follow-up, solution, pending approval. Each person gets them on their own phone, right away.

Features
Each user links their own account. They generate a code in their GLPI profile, open the link in Telegram and that's it: the code works only once, for 10 minutes, and only in a private chat with the bot.
You choose what goes to Telegram on GLPI's own notifications screen, with the recipients and templates you already use. Free, with the bot your company creates on Telegram.
How it works
Step 1
Create the bot on Telegram
In @BotFather, send /newbot, choose the bot's name and copy the token. Create a bot just for this GLPI.
Step 2
Connect it to GLPI
In NexTool > Telegram Bot > Connectors, enter the token and the bot name and save. The module points the bot to your GLPI on its own and checks the connection every 5 minutes.
Step 3
Each user links their own Telegram
Grant "Link my own Telegram chat" to the profiles (Administration > Profiles, NexTool tab). Each person opens My settings, clicks "Generate link code" and then "Open in Telegram". The bot confirms right away.
Step 4
Choose what goes to Telegram
In Setup > Notifications, enable Telegram and add the "Telegram" mode to the notifications you want, with the usual recipients.

Frequently asked questions
Is Telegram Bot free?
Yes. The module is free and uses the bot your company creates on Telegram, through @BotFather.
Does it work on GLPI 10?
No. The module works on GLPI 11 and GLPI 12, with NexTool 6.27.0 or later (6.35.0 or later on GLPI 12).
My GLPI is not reachable from the internet: will it work?
Not for linking users. Telegram must reach GLPI over HTTPS, with a valid certificate, to deliver the linking message. The address used is the application URL, in Setup > General.
Do I need to configure anything on the server?
Yes: GLPI's automatic actions (cron) must be running on the server. They check the bot's connection every 5 minutes and delete expired link codes.
Do messages go through NexTool's servers?
No. Notifications go from your GLPI straight to Telegram, through your company's bot, and the linking message comes from Telegram straight to your GLPI.
Can I use the same bot on two GLPI instances?
No. Telegram delivers a bot's messages to a single address, so each GLPI needs its own bot.
