GLPI chatbot in Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp

Staff open, follow, reply to and approve tickets by chatting with a bot in Teams or WhatsApp. Everything is recorded in your company's GLPI.

NexTool delivers the chatbot as a project: we connect the channel to your GLPI through its API with a minimal-permission user, choose with your team which journeys go in, and follow the go-live.

What users do through the bot

Six journeys that talk to GLPI. Each project switches on the ones that make sense for your operation.

Open a ticket

Picks the service from GLPI forms or categories, describes the request and gets the ticket number right away.

Check tickets

Sees the list of their own tickets, with number, title and status, and opens the details of each one.

Reply

Sends a reply that is added as a followup on the ticket and reaches the assigned technician.

Approve

When GLPI asks for approval, the approver approves or refuses right there. When refusing, they give the reason.

Validate the solution

Once the ticket is solved, the requester accepts and closes it, or refuses with a reason and the ticket reopens.

Satisfaction survey

Answers the GLPI survey with a rating and a comment, without opening another screen.

Notifications follow the ticket: creation, reply, solution and approval request reach whoever has a role in it, whether requester, observer, technician, group or approver, depending on the project. Everything is recorded in the GLPI ticket itself.

How we deliver

A short project, run with your team, from assessment to operation.

1. Assessment

We map your GLPI, the channels, who will use the bot and which journeys go in.

2. GLPI connection

We create the bot user with a minimal-permission profile, connect the channel to the GLPI API and set up the notifications.

3. Channel and tests

We publish the app in your company's Teams or connect the WhatsApp number, and test every journey in your GLPI.

4. Operation

The bot goes live with follow-up from the NexTool team and support through the portal.

It is the WhatsApp connection NexTool hosts so the free WhatsApp Bot module can send GLPI notifications, with no server on your side. It is an annual subscription, purchased in the portal Store for a GLPI environment linked to your account.
