Supply control directly in the GLPI ticket
The Stock Management module connects ticket handling to materials control. When the use of a consumable, such as a replaced part or a swapped cable, or of a printer cartridge is recorded in a ticket, GLPI's native stock is debited automatically, without needing parallel systems. The cartridge is installed in the printer right away: the ticket's printer comes preselected, another one picked on the spot is linked to the ticket, and the printer's history records the replacement with the ticket number.

The reversal process is equally simple: if an item was entered by mistake, the technician can reverse it directly in the ticket and the same units go back to stock instantly. Reports use the GLPI grid, with search, column selection and export to CSV, PDF, ODS and XLSX, and each profile can see only its own movements or all of them.
In the Features tab, you decide whether reversals are allowed, whether every withdrawal requires a ticket and whether the printer is mandatory for cartridges. Solved or closed tickets accept neither withdrawals nor reversals, and the Logs tab keeps the audit trail of movements. With full traceability between consumption and ticket, IT managers see what was consumed in each ticket, by technician and by period.
How it works
Step 1
Register consumables and cartridges in GLPI
Use GLPI's native consumable and cartridge management to register items and their initial balances. The plugin uses this data automatically.
Step 2
Record consumption in the ticket
In the ticket's Stock tab, the technician chooses the type (Consumable or Cartridge), the item and the quantity. For cartridges, the printer linked to the ticket comes preselected. The deduction happens on confirmation.
Step 3
Track balances in real time
The available balance appears in the Withdrawals by ticket tab of each consumable or cartridge and is updated instantly. If the balance is not enough, the withdrawal is refused and the technician sees how much is available.
Step 4
Export reports
In the Reports tab, filter movements by ticket, type, item, printer, period or status and export the results to CSV, PDF, ODS or XLSX.
