Rule Inspector

Debug GLPI rules with full transparency

GLPI rules are powerful, but when something does not work as expected, finding out why can be frustrating. Rule Inspector adds a layer of visibility to the rules engine, displaying a detailed log of each evaluation: which criteria were tested, which passed and which failed, and which actions were executed.

Features

Detailed log of each criterion evaluated in the rules

Real-time inspection mode on existing tickets

Visual indication of passed and failed criteria

Diagnostics of actions executed by each rule

Log filtering by rule type and period

Completely free

How it works

Step 1

Activate inspection mode

In the Rule Inspector panel, activate inspection mode for the desired rule collection (ticket rules, assignment rules, etc.).

Step 2

Trigger on a ticket

Select an existing ticket and click 'Inspect Rules'. The plugin re-evaluates all active rules against that ticket.

Step 3

Analyse the detailed log

View line by line which criteria were evaluated, the result of each one (passed/failed) and which actions were or were not executed.
