Rule Extender
Populate user fields automatically through GLPI rules
GLPI lets you use AD/LDAP criteria (group, OU, email domain) in its automatic user assignment rules, but it offers no actions to populate fields such as Location, Supervisor, Category, and Title. It also only adds the user to a group as a regular member, never as a manager or delegate. Rule Extender fills exactly those gaps.

Features
Once the module is enabled, the native Administration → Rules → Authorizations assignment rules screen gains six new actions, marked "(Rule Extender)" in the list. Four populate the user's Location, Supervisor, Category, and Title from GLPI's native dropdowns. Two add the user to a group as a manager or as a delegate.
The four fields are saved through the same native path that the time zone and language actions already use, and the group actions write GLPI's own group membership, with the manager or delegate flag. There is no core patch and no custom tables, and everything stays compatible with RuleRight's AD/LDAP criteria.
How it works
Step 1
Enable the module
Enable Rule Extender on the NexTool Modules page.
Step 2
Create the rule
Under Administration → Rules → Authorizations assignment rules, create or edit a rule with your AD/LDAP criteria.
Step 3
Add the actions
Add the actions marked "(Rule Extender)" (Location, Supervisor, Category, Title, Group as manager, or Group as delegate) with the values you want; the user is updated on the next sync or login.
