The highlight is SLA on approvals. In GLPI, a ticket sitting in the Approval status keeps consuming the resolution deadline, unlike the Pending status, which pauses the count. In other words, the time waiting for the approver is charged to your team. With Essentials, the Approval status pauses SLA and OLA exactly like Pending: the deadline is postponed by the waiting time and escalation stays suspended while the ticket waits.

The module also fixes how the deadline reads during the pause. Since GLPI only recalculates the date when the ticket leaves the status, long waits make the due date appear in the past and look breached when it isn't; now the ticket shows a paused-SLA notice, and a new search filter stops counting tickets awaiting approval as overdue. Add the cleaner category dropdowns on top. Every adjustment comes switched on and can be turned off on its own, so you keep only what makes sense in your environment.
